A New Week

Well, last week was busy. This week looks busy too. That's okay. :-)

Our first homestudy visit went very well. Vickie was here a little over an hour. We just talked. She took notes. We have our 2nd visit on Tuesday. We are driving to Lakeland to meet Vickie. After this, we'll have 1 more visit. Then the homestudy visits will be complete, and we wait for Vickie to write the homestudy.

Friday there was no school. Tiff went to Orlando with a group of girls from church. They went to the REVOLVE Tour. Tiff went last year and loved it. So she wanted to go again. She had a blast. She got to meet one of her favorite singers, Natalie Grant. They took video of the meeting. Natalie was a great woman, she talked to Tiffs friend Ashley on the phone. Ashley was sick and could not make it. All the girls were so excited.

While Tiff was at REVOLVE on Saturday, Bill & I took Abby & Jadyn to Magic Kingdom. We had a great time. We knew we could only be there a few hours because they had a birthday party to go to at 2. By around noon, the girls were asking to go home. Weird, huh? Well, we did a lot in the 3 hours we were there. We managed to stay another hour and then head to the party. They had fun at the party, but they were tired.

Jadyn's new expression now is "I like my food!" She cracks us up!

Please pray for my friend Kris. She is in Vietnam as I type and getting ready for the day she has been waiting for for almost 18 months. Adoption Day! She & her hubby will be finally adopting their son Joshua. I can't wait to get an email from her. Please pray for the transition for all of them. For Kris & her hubby, that they will have the strength it takes to learn what Josh needs & wants, and for Joshua, that he will not grieve to much and that he will bond with his mommy & daddy.

Thank you! Until next time......
